Reminisce: No Doubt "Just A Girl"

This friday I will be seeing my FAVORITE BAND-NO DOUBT live for the first time! I'm more than excited, I'm jumping out of my skin. This was the band I'd send some cash to (via my mother because I was too young to work at the time) just to receive autographed pics, stickers and tees. Posters, magazines, CDs, even cassettes-I got 'em. 

And remember that classic Spin magazine that only displayed Gwen on the cover?

Yup! bought it and still have it :)

And on there most recent issue of the magazine, the whole band has graced the cover.

Also, Gwen is featured on the latest issue of Elle (cop it) and it's all about women in music. Great issue.

So, if you'll be at the PNC in Jersey screaming your head off to every single song like me, I hope you have an awesome time. I can't wait to see all of the Gwen-a-bees' style from the 1990s up to the present day.  It's going to be great.  Ps. Janelle Monae and Paramore are the opening acts... I'll be there early and ready.

in a perfect world i'd have Rachel Zoe be my stylist and Mally Roncal be my makeup artist. hopefully a little later today the latter will come true for 5 minutes. between 4-7 pm Mally will be at Henri Bendel's in NYC to brighten some faces and show her new spring makeup line.

i finally got my tickets for the Lily Allen show at the Roseland Ballroom in April. Julie and I will be gettin' it in with one of my favorite British gals (I swear i was English in another life). I'm looking forward to hearing her new music live soooo much. the greatest show on earth

so yesterday i was in my room and i was really feeling down because i had my hopes up for checking out the Glow in the Dark tour in NY but due to some circumstances my plan fell through. i checked Ticketmaster to see if there happened to be any tickets available and they were all out of my price range. then i remembered that there would be a show in Camden, NJ so i checked for those. i put my bid in for two seats and boom they came up and at a reasonable price--honestly how much do you expect to pay for four showstoppers? i made some calls to see who would be able to roll with me and my friend Rene was dooowwwnnn lol. soooo Saturday May 17th i have a date with Rihanna, N.3.R.D., Lupe Fiasco, and Kanye West. mmm, mmm, mmm, ain't life grand? :)
