Vogue x Hello Kitty

yesterday i was at Barnes and Noble looking for the Italian Vogue mag and came across the Japanese Vogue. i saw my precious Hello Kitty on the cover but couldn't understand any of what the mag was saying because it wasn't in english. the mag was sealed but i saw that it was grouped with about two other booklets. time was against me so i looked at the price ($20), put the Vogue down and kept it moving.

today i did a search for "hello kitty vogue magazine" and viola! i read that the mag was dedicated to the mouthless one and came with a specially made HK x Vogue charm. so you know what that means. i will be returning today to cop that magazine. you know the Japanese love HK (she's like the Mickey Mouse of Japan with a theme park and all) and this will be a great collectors piece.

"wackness" movie trailer pt.2

this weekend was all about the blog-stresses; i met up with my classmate/friend Frances on sunday in Times Square so we could catch "The Wackness" movie. we linked up at the Hello Kitty Store (yes i get my Tokidoki pen, stationary, AND free Sanrio bag). the movie was really cool. the music used just brought you back to 1994. there's some NaS in there and a lot of Biggie Smalls. the plot line was simple, yet understandable. it covered relationships between parents, marriages, friends, and the ages. i must say the only con of the whole movie was Method Man's weak Jamaican accent. there was also a lot of weed action going on in the film. at one point i looked over to Frances and said, "This movie is so realistic, I can smell the weed. No wait... people are smoking in here." but i honestly did get so caught up i forgot i was in a theater. so if you can, check it out. it's very chill and you'll have "mad love" for it lol.

ps. someone ratted on the pot smokers and they were escorted out. "TIME TO GO!!!"

i want to see 'Wanted' pt.2

on saturday bubblegum pony*s creator Jewels and myself met up for some movie/mall action at Menlo Park in Edison, NJ. we saw "Wanted" and we were pretty mixed about it. i enjoyed the action and Fox's (Angelina Jolie) leather garb. although 85% of that stuff couldn't happen in real life--it's a movie. the movie did have some good visual effects (ie. the grocery store signs and the curved bullet in the end). but i absolutely HATED the scene with the rats. gross!!! and if you saw the movie then you wouldn't believe how horrified i was when i came home and saw a new jar of peanut butter in my kitchen lol.

country crooner Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman welcomed a baby girl on monday. her name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban...sheesh.



Sunday isn't the only celebaby born monday. Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend welcomed a baby boy.

it's week #3 of America's Best Dance Crew and SC killed it. they danced to a super mix of Jim Jones' "We Fly High" that was ridic. as i watched all i kept saying was, "WHAT?!" and "OOOOHHHH!!" these guys have definitely set the bar "high" for the other crews.....BAAAALLLLLIIIINNNN'!!!!

i know i'm late with this, but i still feel the need to share.
