Today I will be back at SELF to freelance for Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012. I can't believe that this time last year I started my internship and now I've come full circle as someone they can now rely. I owe a lot to this magazine for the great training and work ethic that they've instilled in me. I can't wait to be stomping the streets of NYC during one of the best times of the year in the fashion world.

Check out the April 2011 issue of SELF magazine with Kim K looking dewy and fresh on the cover. Inside she shares some motivational tips that help her maintain her outer and inner best self.
When my internship was coming to an end in December, this issue was in its baby stage and when I heard that the reality star was going to grace the cover, I knew instantly that it would be a hot issue. But for the May issue (I saw the cover today btw) there is something that I cannot wait to share with all of you. But for now, grab the newest issue, and if you didn't yet, try to grab the March issue with actress Minka Kelly.
Have you picked up your February issue of SELF yet? Well, you still have a couple of weeks left to snag the issue that has Brooklyn Decker gracing the cover. The beauty will be in the new big screen comedy, Just Go With It, alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston this month.
I was still at my internship when this issue was being put together and I was lucky enough to contribute my intern efforts to three of the "Your Style" pages: 'Hot Links,' 'Get Juiced,' and 'Neutral Gear.'
So go and grab this issue that also features cute Valentine's Day lingerie, great options for training sneakers, and healthy snack ideas.
Here's a list of the Top 10 things that I will associate with 2010--in no specific order.
1. Finishing Rutgers! (Here's a picture of myself and friend Frances on our last day.)
2. Being a Groom's Lady in my cousin Alejandro's wedding.
3. My two-week stay in Guyana. (My cousin Rhonda and I in GT.)
4. Getting into the Zac Posen for Target event as a "guest on the list," buying this beautiful dress, then wearing it to a good friend's wedding before it actually hit stores.
5. Sitting down and interviewing the amazing Pete Rock for an NJPAC event.
6. Seeing M.I.A. perform not once, but TWICE. The first time was in the summer at HARD (if you're a web head, you know how that turned out). But the second time at Brooklyn Bowl was amazing!! It was a free show, I got to dance on stage with her, and when she crowd surfed her butt was on my face. LOL
7. Meeting my boo, aka, my *Snoop voice* neffew, bka Baby Jackson.
8. Interning at SELF Magazine.
9. Becoming a cooking and baking queen thanks to Bethenny Frankel Hoppy. (Pictured are her Not So Red Velvet Cupcakes.)
10. And having the time of my life at the Michael Jackson "MICHAEL" listening party.
In the magazine world, December will be over in a few days, but you still have some time to grab this month's issue of SELF featuring supermodel (and super mogul) Heidi Klum. When I began my internship at SELF, this was the issue that the magazine was prepping for. Therefore, it holds a special place in my heart. And if you get to flip through a copy, a lot of the jewelry and some of the accessories featured have been touched by moi!
